Each thickly potted and painted in brilliantly colored enamels with two tiers of shaped reserves fille diwth seasonal flowers and insects surrounded by flower heads on a green enamel ground, the lower floral band of one vase coming close to the edge of the base while that of the second encirlces the convex edge to the base, both with set-in foot rings
