Wide mouth jar, expanding from short circular foot, curving inward to the shoulder, rising up into a short neck, even, lustrous black brown glaze overall, thicker on the shoulders and base, with six evenly spaced sets of well articulated, long, thin white slip ribs running vertically from the shoulders and trailing off at the base, interior glazed as well with the interior of the neck and rim left unglazed with the exception of a splash where the glaze was drained.
