A French Gray Painted Center Table

Gray marble top with white and rose veining

Wide elaborately carved frieze, front and back with similar motifs of scrolling acanthus leaves amidst full blossoms, joining in central beribboned and suspended laurel wreath that encloses a vase of flowers, the sides with further scrolls around deeply carved blooms, the center with a classical urn, joined at the corners by rectangular panels of florets, surmounting four waisted, tapering columnar legs with swags of garlands around the upper leg, terminating in acanthus leaf motif atop a single ring and peg foot.
